That's gorgeous!

Used to have a couple of non-Mark regular-Joe Continentals with the air-ride suspension and cushy leather seats and wow, was that a comfortable place to be!

At least until the air bags started to go. Was cheaper to have it converted to strut/springs, but lost that magical floaty feeling, while softly bouncing down the highway. Don't think sitting on my couch at home was even as comfortable as sitting in the Lincolns!

I got my dad's 1995 Lincoln Continental after he died. He bought it used. The only fancy car he ever had. OMG the leather! The adjustable air ride was insane! Until... Same deal. We converted it. I miss that car.

I get the off-roading appeal. Maybe I’ll try it. Could be fun. Nice picture and vids.

I don’t go to car meets, I don’t enjoy sitting around in parking lots. I’m with you there. I rather race them.

I just bought a 885hp race fuel kit for the car so I have a good shot to break 200mph. So no I’m not sitting around in a parking lot with wannabe racers lol.

Also my wife has some friends that have jeeps (all female for some reason) and they invited us out to some off-road thing. I’ll tag along my wife needs someone to hold her purse when she goes over some rocks…..

we had to take a longer drive recently, and she did tell me to take the Tahoe as she prefers that for long rides lol. She likes the Jeep better for around town and short trips though.

but to each their own. I was complaining to my bro about the Jeep he said I deserve to get roasted. It’s like a Viper owner complaining about the harsh suspension. This is his car and mine:

I actually recently seen that Dodge has released the new rumble bee muscle truck line, I really want the SRT version. That’s more of my type of vehicle. You guys would rather have a TRX I’m assuming….

Roasted, and deservedly so. The vehicles you buy for yourself, but won’t even spring for a V8 Wrangler for your wife, you cheapskate you.

to be honest the Tahoe WAS her car; we bought it for her and than my truck blew a trans. So I took the Tahoe and we bought a Jeep. It’s what she wanted, a stick shift 2 door with a soft top. She doesn’t care about HP at all….. she has never driven my hellcat and has no desire to!

I’m really a “muscle head” and am about lots and lots of horsepower. Always have always will be. My wife just want something that moves lol.

the jeep is growing on me, it’s just the first impressions of it are “rough”

Are you sure ? My ex wanted a Vega Panel, OK. But loved my 69 Homolgonation (Eng ser #HP 36? out of 500) GTX the couple times I let her drive it. ….. My wife wanted a 4R when I found a restored like new HP 454, ton drivetrain etc 72 Blazer. I caved, but when I got a GCSRT for my DD guess who got stuck with the 4R. ….. shouda known, she had a Vette when we met, albeit a gutless smog 78…… but the Vette I had was even slower, a whole 155 HP and a 2 speed PowerSlide.

His purse must be massive. The wife has daily driven a JLUR on 37s, 38s, or 39s since 2019 without a single complaint. It handles well enough for a lifted box on 39s. No it's not a sports car but nobody should expect it to be.
