Help! Selecting Correct Mopar Lift

Hey all!

First off, hope everyone is staying safe. Special thanks to all the first responders on here.

So I was speaking with the GM who I bought my Jeep from (good buddy of mine) and he was mentioning he could hook me up with 25% off parts and a good price on labor on a lift kit after I shared with him my interest in lifting my Jeep 2". I'm leaning towards a 2" Mopar lift however Mopar's official site is showing 4 different 2" lifts with diff part #s!

Anyone know off-hand which one is the most current/up-to-date lift kit or best lift kit overall for a 2019 JL Unlimited 3.6? Also, are these parts sufficient or will I have to also purchase additional parts to ensure the vehicle is properly built?

Also, from past experience, should I have the tire/wheels ready to go? I'm leaning towards 35s with Fuel Hostage rims 20x12 -44 offset (hoping these fit!!)

Any and all insight is greatly GREATLY appreciated!!

Whats your intended use for this Jeep? The wheel size mentioned kind of already answered that, but its worth asking to confirm. That wheel size might also be the reason its taken this long for any responses.

The last two letters in the part number indicate the version, with the higher letter being newer (starts with AA, then AB, AC, AD etc.) Here are the part numbers in the instructions:

Those wheels should "fit", but they're going to have a huge scrub radius. You may need to adjust the steering & bump stops.

I was curious to know this as well. I plan on going with that similar setup of 35’s with 20” Fuel wheels and the Mopar lift.

Thank you for the response! I should have clarified, my ride is my daily with very little rock climbing. Maybe a few trails here n there but that's about it.

@Roky was nice enough to share with me that he had a similar set up on his previous Jeep! Another member @JL_v was also nice enough to reach out and share that he had a 2" RC lift with that tire/wheel set up (it's who I wanted to emulate!). I guess it'll come down to which tire option is suitable as far as quality/cost and noise. Although I hear this tire class is typically loud. If so, I could probably still live with it. Any ideas for decent tires for this wheel?

Thank you for this! I'll be sure to go with the AD model, which from speaking with @Roky, may still need some upgrades.

I know there's a particular look that you are going for, and that's OK. I'd like to recommend a more driver and offroad friendly wheel size. 17x9 is the most commonly used wheel for Jeepers, but anything under 20 inches will be better both on and off-road IMO.

You're also going to need to re-gear if you want to use 8th gear (assuming you have an auto). If you go with 35-inch tires, you will need a 4:56 gear ratio.

By increasing the diameter of your tires, the Jeep will struggle to get into 8th on the HWY. UPDATE:

Just got a quote back from my dealership and he was able to do the 2" MOPAR lift and labor both for $1500. I scored a discount on the parts and the labor was a little over $300. Should be going in soon, waiting on the wheel and tire combo before I head in!
