UPDATE:
Just got a quote back from my dealership and he was able to do the 2" MOPAR lift and labor both for $1500. I scored a discount on the parts and the labor was a little over $300. Should be going in soon, waiting on the wheel and tire combo before I head in!
In short, by changing your tire size you alter your final drive ratio. The JL has an 8-speed automatic transmission that allows for low RPM cruising at HWY speeds. By increasing the diameter of your tires, the Jeep will struggle to get into 8th on the HWY. Here's a good thread that talks about...
Thank you so much for the reply, I appreciate the advice as this is all new to me! I was kind of lost in the second statement, I do have an auto. Is this something that dealerships are aware of as far as regearing? And when you say 8th gear, I'm not sure what you mean.
Apologies for the lack of...
Thank you for the response! I should have clarified, my ride is my daily with very little rock climbing. Maybe a few trails here n there but that's about it.
@Roky was nice enough to share with me that he had a similar set up on his previous Jeep! Another member @JL_v was also nice enough to...
Hey all!
First off, hope everyone is staying safe. Special thanks to all the first responders on here.
So I was speaking with the GM who I bought my Jeep from (good buddy of mine) and he was mentioning he could hook me up with 25% off parts and a good price on labor on a lift kit after I...
Awesome man, thanks for the heads up! Couple quick questions, anyone know for MA (or out of state purchases in general), if well run into any lemon law issues or hassles with having work done bc it was purchased in neighboring state? Also, any idea if pricepoints for 2020 features will be...
Perfect! Exactly my situation as far as daily driving and trail exposure. As far as the lift is concerned, if I was to have the work done by a shop, do I simply suggest the "2.5 Rough Country" and nothing else? Or do I also pay for any additional add-on's/parts? i understand from reading this...
Absolutely love the look! I am new to lifts, may I ask the specifics of your lift/wheel/tires combo? Mine will be my daily however I will also be doing small trails from time to time. How is the drive? Any stiffness??
Thanks in advance, yours is a thing of beauty!

Best bet is to scour this forum, use search bar and type in "pricing spreadsheet" where misanthrope has done an amazing job creating an excel spreadsheet listing all options, msrp and more importantly, INVOICE!
This may be a dumb question, but does this mean 19s order bank expected to end in July? I ask bc I am gravitated to the Mojito! color after test driving an 18 rubi Mijito! this morning. It was noice. Not sure if Mojito will be avail with 20s and I would hate to lose opportunity to order one in...
Bump. Anyone have a dealership or two in MA or neighboring states? And if so, can you please share your below invoice %?
Looking for 2019 but leaning towards 2020 and having a dealership selected forwhen ordering banks open.
Thanks!
Yea I'm also interested. I'm coming from south end of MA/boarding RI so I can make the drive. I did extensive research for new jeep last year, but reintroducing myself to idea for 2020 models.
One question to clarify, when suggesting 7% below, is that out the door? Or excluding any other fees...
