I like the Red Rubi the best for ride, the JT fox look better. The Mopar lift fox just do not take up the street joints and bumps. They just dance across them, instead of absorbing like the reds or the JT's.

So if I want to put the JT shock on my Sahara, would I need to replace the springs aswell?

I assume you are referring to this post? If so, then yes... I read it in October of 2019. There are no lengths stated, and it also confirms that the JT Rubicon shocks are not identical in length to the JL Rubicon shocks. Plus there is no mention of collapsed lengths.

Both JT ( fox ) and JL ( red ) Rubicon shocks are:
Front 15.750 - 23.625
Rear 17.500 - 26.000

The rear JT (fox ) holes are 14mm and have no spacers like the JL reds.

Easiest way to make rear JT Rubicon shocks work on JL is to order and install the JT Rubicon front bushings in them.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the Rubber bushings on the Rubicon Fox Shocks (JT)?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to install the bushings? I failed miserably for 2 days. I do not have a press, and my C clamp isn’t working.
I have an impact drill, and a ratchet

Man no tools.... Have you seen the bolt ,washers spacer use as a press?
You will need a 13mm bolt long enough to go through the bushing , shock and 1-1.5 long spacer plus washers.) Bolt the bushing and shock then spacer together and draw the bushing into place, by tightening the bolt. Not saying it will work but should.

I was able to swap these shocks out to the Gladiator JT Rubicon fox shocks on my JLUSahara on Rubicon tires/wheels.......Took me about 20-25mins per shock. Easy. The hardest part was putting the new bushings in, although some part of the rubber flap was torn, but didn't affect the installation.

It's a night and day difference in ride quality, with a lot less bounce. It's like a feeling of an SUV.

Highly recommended.

Do you know the extended/collapsed lengths of the Mojave shocks? If not, could you measure them when they arrive?
