Is your dealer providing a warranty that can be use at any dealer or just them? Do they have to do all the pm services or its void? I would get the details to see how it compares

I am planning to buy the FCA Warranty and here is why. First year of the vehicle with LOTS of engineering changes. It can be used at ANY dealer nationwide. It's FCA, not your local dealer that's backing it. It's bumper to bumper, so all electronics, steering, etc. are included and there are more computers and complex systems in the current lineup than ever before. You can burn through $2700 on a repair amazing quick on a new vehicle. So here’s a question, if my dealer already includes a free lifetime powertrain warranty would it be completely pointless to buy the lifetime max care warranty for the $2600-$2700?
Maybe stupid questions, but will the deductible kick in after the factory warranty expires after 36/36000 or do you have to pay that deductible from the moment you purchased that plan (looking for the lifetime with 100 deductible)
Don't want to pay any cost while the vehicle is still in factory warranty
great, but I imagine you can use the rental car benefits immediate, dealers around here are awfull with loaner cars and cant miss the car for daysKicks in after
Yes that's one of the benefits. I'm going in for 5k oil change and cruise recall this upcoming week and they offered up rental car no questions asked .great, but I imagine you can use the rental car benefits immediate, dealers around here are awfull with loaner cars and cant miss the car for days
that's great to know, the rental car is a huge benifitYes that's one of the benefits. I'm going in for 5k oil change and cruise recall this upcoming week and they offered up rental car no questions asked .
I also asked about deductible and said when that's in effect it's per visit not per item needing repair . So I take that as if I wait for one problem till I have say two problems I won't pay more then my stated deductible. But not expecting multiple problems but if it comes up or is something really minor I'll just wait.
Tom. He was great to work with. When I picked up my JL, gave the dealer option to meet his price but they noted that his price was $300 below their costs. Said, thanks no thanks and about a week later sealed the deal with Tom.that's great to know, the rental car is a huge benifit
Did you buy it at you local dealer or via Tom Winkels
Deductible is per visit not per problem? What? How is that a good thing?Yes that's one of the benefits. I'm going in for 5k oil change and cruise recall this upcoming week and they offered up rental car no questions asked .

Mine on my charger is per incidentDeductible is per visit not per problem? What? How is that a good thing?
It’s common for issues to take 3-4 trips to a dealer, especially an incompetent one.
If they’re gonna charge per visit that’s highway robbery.
More like the above sorry, by visit I meant have two problems, pay your deductible just once. Agree, sometimes they can't fix it right the first time so I would expect and fight to NOT pay deductible again.Mine on my charger is per incident
Just had a Main Computer and ignition go out, paid my deductible
week later all the esc and abs lights came on, took it back and they had to replace an ABS computer too
no additional deductible
Yep, I also blew out the drive shaft connector once, so between the two repairs the warranty has covered almost 4.5K in repairs all in.More like the above sorry, by visit I meant have two problems, pay your deductible just once. I'm guessing those repairs likely paid for the extended warranty - yikes.
