Looking to trade in my 18 JL for a 24 Rubicon. This is my DD and I will put a decent amount of miles since its also a work vehicle. So with all the new electronics and such I was looking into an extended warranty. Should I go with what the dealership offers or are there others to look at?
Thanks
Kenny

I think so. Just remember that the price is negotiable. I went with one through Ally becasue it allows up to a 3" lift and 37" tires.

For reference, I don't know if I left $$ on the table but my final negotiated rate (with 35K miles on my Jeep) was bumper to bumper coverage (with a lift) for an additional 60 months/60,000 miles, $100 deductible, for $2,625. I'm covered for another 5 years and odometer of 95K miles which should cover me to at least the end of my loan.

I would shop around. There are Jeep dealers who sell online at discounted rates. Grainger is one I think. I plan to get an extended warranty on my Jeep (on order) once I get it. I have bought extended warranties in the past but never paid close to full price. I usually buy online but the one time I bought from the dealer I negotiated down to a number close to the online price. It's great to support the local dealer but go in knowing what a reasonable price is.

I just talked to Granger Finance and added the 8 year 85K MOPAR warranty to my 392 I'm picking up Wednesday. IT WAS WAY CHEAPER than I ever dreamed. I was like hell yes add it in!!!

Nice, I just sent them an email with the info they request. Hoping to take delivery of by the end of the week.

Agreed, bought the same policy for my 392. It IS really inexpensive compared to what I’m used to paying.

Not to hijack the thread, but since the topic came up, this was one I was interested in as well. Just picked up a used 2022 392. It is still under the factory warranty obviously, but I was considering adding an extended warranty to it at some point...just didn't want to do so when I was buying it. At the time of purchase, the dealer finance guy was pushing hard (shocker!) towards an "Easy Care" extended warranty rather than the Mopar plan, but we didn't get too deep into specifics of it.

Anyone have any experience with Easy Care vs. the Mopar plan, and specifically, do any of them cover much to do with the SOT Roof? Admittedly, that was one of my main reasons for thinking of an extended warranty for a change.

Back in good ole 2018, I payed $2850 for the lifetime warranty. Too bad that Lifetime Mopar warranty was killed off.

I purchased the 8/85 Mopar MAXIMUM CARE ($100 deductible) for my 2024 Sahara from an online Mopar dealer. I paid it in full at the time of purchase and because of that, they gave me a nice discount. Total for the 8/85,000 with the discount was $1400.

The dealer that I bought the Wrangler from wanted $2600.

Now Mine is for a brand new Jeep, but 8 year 86K Seriously with the 200$ deductible was better than any I've seen on here. Email them at Granger, you do not even need to call them. I know I probably sound like a fan boy, but I got a hell of a deal on the jeep and warranty so If I can help a fellow Jeeper save money/get more bang for the buck, I'm all over that.
