I can’t tell exactly what. But anything that make it fun is banned. Bigger wheels and tires. Getting lifted. Anything they can get away with. If you think it might be an issue. It’s a issue

Read the fine print on the warranty. A factory warranty tends to be more restrictive than an aftermarket warranty

Your question has, in my opinion, a practical and legal answer. Maybe it's easier for me to tackle the second one first.

"The Magnuson Moss Warranty Act requires manufacturers to honor the original warranty unles"s they can prove that the aftermarket modification (either the parts or installation) was responsible for the failure that caused warranty repairs.

Just know that, ultimately, if they say the modifications were responsible, the only way to settle the proof issue is usually in a court of law—and that can be very expensive. If you lose, you’re not only on the hook for the repairs, but also attorney and court fees for yourself and the dealership."

The practical answer is probably dealer and problem specific. One dealer may give you a hard time for certain mods while another looks the other way. Still more, if it's your Air Conditioning that proves defective under warranty, for example, I just can't see how the installation of a Genesis Offroad dual battery kit, for example, an excellent and independent of climate control component, should prevent a warranty claim.

Yr better off reading all the fine print or call them and get clarity on The Who’s n what’s. Cuz I’ve seen things get bad for minor mods and if u don’t use dealer techs for maintenance etc…

Taking to the dealers is like taking to wolves with raw meat around yr neck. Call the warranty place literally and speak with them. Some guys say take the 2500 and save it or Invest it to be the cash u need for any fixes , idk ?‍♂If that helps but or get the warranty for a lot cheaper then most dealers from someone here I remember seeing they have good prices for the same warranty Good luck.

Your dealer can answer that question better than anyone on here. If the dealer wants to make issue of any mods, they will.

Good luck.

I just got off the phone with dealer and they said as long as you do the lift kit installation or anything with certified technicians they cover it ! And the warranty company said that as long as the problem is not caused by the modification I should be ok ! Assurant the name of the warranty!!

Perhaps ask the dealer what proves to them that the work was done by certified technicians? An invoice itself may not be enough?
