OP link it say it comes with a 1 year warranty. And 30 day money back guarantee.
But it also says: "Will not void warranty." I am doubtful they have any arrangement with any manufacture on the planet.

That said the auto start-stop is a PITA that yeah, I hope it goes away. But until then just pressing that little button on the dash that eliminates the "feature"... really can't be easier on a scale of what bothers me in life.

I use this one on my '21 4-door Sport.

It was installed the day I drove my new Jeep home from the dealer.

The device linked in the OP's post has an exposed circuit board, which is a bit problematic since it also costs one C-note.

I'm using the Autostop Eliminator which essentially is the same thing. My auto stop eliminator works fine on my 23 Wrangler Rubi 2 Dr 3.6L. Plugged mine about a year and half ago and haven't looked back.

I bought mine directly from Autostop Eliminator for $100.
Same here except mine has been working flawlessly for just over 2-years. 👍

I just unplugged it under the hood. I now get a warning light right next to the low tire pressure warning light. I ignore both of them. I can't think of anything worse than having the engine die when canted over at 40 degrees or so looking down at the canyon 1000' below on Cliffhanger in Moab.

I have no idea what I spent on mine back in 2019, probably around $100 back then. Many brands now on Amazon that probably come from the same factory for $25-$40. I bought one for under $30 for my son's Honda about 6 months ago that's been flawless.

I don't know, maybe it's just me but other than 100% agreeing it's annoying... I don't have an issue pressing this button which seems to be right next to the all the media iPad looking thing and the radio buttons. Isn't everyone touching or pressing those?

I’m guessing that doesn’t help those of us who already have this function? Or is there an OEM software fix?
It doesn't. Would only be for new production. I got rid of that and the eco part of my diesal. Its all about money for them and we pay the price. No way any of that actually helps the environment.

Good question! First, we have to see if the above actually happens. There are a lot of vehicles out there, currently running with this Federal man-date piece of crap installed.

I’m really unsure why more people don’t use JScan, especially when using the Tazer. The changes are permanent, much easier to program, less money and you don’t have to remove it for warranty work. Plus, as I said, you don’t need to leave it hooked up to keep your changes working. Do it once and forget about it.
I encourage more people to download JScan from the Apple or Google store and try it. It has a demo mode that allows you to make any changes you want without actually hooking it up so you can see how easy it is and learn the programming. Then when you’re ready you buy the license for $20. All in for about $65 with the cable and dongle you need. Does not effect warranty and if the Dealer goes into the computer there is no sign of anyone messing around.
you can also change the Speedo for gears and tires, turn on/off OEM options if you want to add or remove. If you want to add LED head, turn or fog lights you can turn those features on and not have to use resistors. If you add a hardtop you can turn on the wiper and defroster. Basically anything that’s programmable can be done. Including turning off the ESS.

Holy Toledo thank you. I'm looking that up and wow.

I have both but it would be nice for the owners that simply didn’t want start stop to not have to pay for a solution.

I agree, but the reality is it’s part of the law and is illegal to turn them off if so equipped, so no one can make them optional if installed, legally. The easiest and cheapest way is just a $25 eliminator which turns on no lights and has no negative effects. JScan is great because many people with jeeps like to fiddle with stuff and this allows you to do it easily and not have to leave something plugged in that must be removed before going in for warranty work.
I’m sure tons of people leave them in and have no issues, but all it takes is one time and you will always have problems after that.
