There's plenty of threads on here about aftermarket fobs and fob covers, mostly people wanting to make the huge factory fobs a little smaller, right?

But does anyone else have to deal with double the huge fobs taking up your whole pocket?

My wife and I bought 2 JL's in May 2020, so we have a total of four of these mega fobs!

The smaller fob cases are great, but how awesome would it be if they could make fobs for 2 vehicles? Not even both jeeps, but could be programmed for just about any make, right?

Do you carry all four fobs with you? ?

Fobs are on their way out now, a lot of cars can be opened and started with just a smartphone now ?

Help us understand why you'd carry two fobs on your person when there's only one driver's seat. If your wife is following you in her own JL, she'd have to carry that vehicle's fob as a matter of necessity. If she's in the passenger seat of your JL (or vice versa), that implies that the other Jeep is at home and again, just one fob is required.

Yeah, good point... why are you carrying 2 fobs if you're only driving one Jeep ?
Split personality ? - just kidding around
It does sound like a good idea to combine these and yet I'm pretty sure the whole "Giant Fob" thing is just another Advertisement for Jeep... otherwise, why did they do this in such a ridiculous way ?
These are stupid big things now and the key pops out quite often like a switchblade just grabbing them, why not just have a separate normal key for our rings and a normal size fob ?

Agreed, it's not necessary to always carry 2 fobs, just habit to have access to both of the family vehicles.
I just thought being able to select vehicle A or B for any given fob style/vehicle would be a good idea.

Agreed. My wife and I both have 2021s. Heck we'd love to be able to program each other's Jeep to respond to the other key. She may not always be in my jeep, but I'm always doing something with hers and mine. 1 fob sure would be nice!

I know I carry two fobs because my wife and I work different shifts (at places two blocks from each other), 25 minutes from the house and sometimes I'll need to get something out of or put something in her vehicle. Beats driving back home and then back over and wasting almost an hour. I actually carry 3 fobs because I don't know when she'll be in her Lexus (replaced her JL that she totaled) or her Mini Cooper.

Have you asked if both could be programmed to the same fob? When I couldn’t find one of my GC’s fobs they had to reprogram both the new and old one and told me if the missing one was found and didn’t work they would have to program all three again. Worth asking, just might be possible

Carrying around a Jeep key fob is a status symbol. It shows you drive the best brand of vehicle, and that you have awesome taste!

Therefore, logically… Carrying 4 key fobs mean you have 4x the status and cool factor! ??
