Ive been on dozens of wheeling trips and drop my pressure to 12psi on my 33s, rubicon wheels. You wont have issues at that psi....
Good information. I've been keeping my pressures in the high teens. But will definitely keep in mind I can safely drop to 15 ish now.

The 'check for leaks' part of the rebound pro installation video is what makes me nervous :)

After having just finished my set of KMC Riots this weekend, triple digit torque numbers with a wheel sitting on a bucket sounds like my ass would be laying on the garage floor waiting for the wife to deliver an Ibuprofen IV for my back lol
It is an entertaining thread wow

To be fair, it's good practice to do the same with normal beadlocks too.

We just spent the last two days wheeling sand dunes on the beaches of Oregon at 12 psi without beadlocks. That was under the direction of AEV who orchestrated and funded the whole thing. This was high-speed insane stuff. You'll be fine without beadlocks.

If you think you do not need beadlocks then you have never done and serious off roading where absolute traction is essential, airing down to 6psi is essential else you will get stuck.

You might be fine on hard terrain like rock crawling, etc. but when it comes to extreme stuff in sand, especially dunes, then you will regret not having beadlocks.

Oh I know some will respond and say they do extreme dune off roading for 1000 years and never had a tire break the bead. Well simple answer to that is you are bullsh1ting.

i routinely ran 12-13 in my 35" Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/Ts without problems without beadlocks. but i was careful about what i asked them to do, too.
Beadlocks allow going lower with more peace of mind.

More peace of mind until you need to have something done to the tires or wheels. Then you risk not being able to find a shop that will have the balls to touch them.

And don't forget when they explode on the highway and you kill a bus full of nuns the DOT will throw a large book at you and move into your basement.

Thanks. I had heard 12-13 was ok. For what I have been doing, much lower than that is not needed nor an advantage.

Hell, I've had tire shops refuse to install snow tires on my wife's Merc AMG due to them being a different aspect ratio than stock, even though they had diameters identical to stock.

Some of those shops think with their lawyers first.
