@lurvis I was looking at the material list for the door holder. Is there specific lengths that need to be cut out of each 10’ section of pvc to make the math work. Also would getting 5’ sections work and just double the amount?

Pipe 1 gives you 7x 1’ sections, 2x 6” sections, 2x 2.5” sections and 1x 19” section.
Pipe 2 gives you 6x 19” sections and 1x 6” section.
Pipe 3 gives you 4x 19” sections, 1x 6” section, and the remaining 6x 2.5” sections.

Using 10’ poles are cheaper overall than 5’ and give you more room to play with the measurements and cuts.

Thank you! Now to figure out how to fit 10’ sections in my Jeep

Oh yea! So, we had a Kia Soul to transport all of this so cut one of them in half to 5’ and the other two of them to 76”.

I got them to cut them in half for me at Home Depot. It worked out fine. I cut the 19 inch ones first, then the foot ones, then 6 inch ones then the 2.5inch ones. Had enough with some scraps too.

Just wanted to show the completed cart in action. Works great! Only problem is, I learned on Sat that my wife is not capable of helping me take the top off. So me be installing a hoist. If I do I’ll have a cart available for someone

Do you have the double stack 2x4 in the back, The 15" ones? The pictures look like it may be a single height 2x4. Just curious as I look at angle of hardtop on the cart.

It’s two 15” stacked. I copied the build exactly. I’m amazed at how sturdy the top is on the cart. It doesn’t wobble at all

The only hard thing of the build was trying to wrap that thick ass Berber carpet around the 2 x 4’s. Has some left from re-carpeting the house, padded it well, but damn it was a bitch

I thought about using almost the same carpet I have in my basement too, extra pieces... but buying the cheap carpet at Home Depot made it much much easier, cut the carpet with scissors, and air-stapler.

Do you all use the freedom top storage bag for those 2 pieces?
