They are solid and a good choice if you will not be running differential skids. I think a more a few here have installed them. I am running the Ford version of them on the rear of my Bronco and the Ford version has a drain plug.

I seem to recall due to the support ribs that most skids will not work with them.

I ran Next Venture skids with Motobilt covers (which are about the same price as the Dana covers).

Same. I think Rancho diff skids can be modified to work with the Advantek diff cover.

I have them on my Jeep - no skids though. Happy so far, but they’ve been on only for 3k mi and haven’t been used offroad yet (damn Volvo glitch has it with no heat, there is a ridiculous wait at the dealer, and so we’re stuck dailying the JL as the family car)

We have the Dana diff covers on our rig and I'm happy with them. They are stout and have done the job.

I guess the only way to change the oil is either remove the cove. (allows for inspection) Or syphon the oil out.
Is this correct?

It depends on the year of jeep and which axles you have. The diff covers do not have a drain but both of my axles have a diff drain on them. At some point jeep did away with, I forget one or both of the drains. We have 2021 Diesel Rubicon. In that pic if you zoom in you can see the diff drain on the bottom.

Differiential covers do more than contain oil. They also contribute to proper lubrication.

Very good.
I have a 2019 Rubicon with approx 30k and was thinking I would change the oil and cover at the same time, this time.
Will have to check to see if I have a drain hole.

Thanks

I have seen that video before.
That was one reason I was looking at there covers.

I was assuming that sine they made the gears that they would have taken lubtication issues into consideration when they designed them?

Am I wrong in this thought process?

Looks Good.
Do these covers hold more oil than the original factory covers?
Havn't been able to find an answer to that.

Good luck trying to get an answer. I’ve called and emailed everyone. The company must be entirely B2B, because I just can’t get customer service. I assume they are like most others with two plugs. The bottom one is for standard pinion angles and the top is for more extreme angles.
