Hi y’all, I just wanted to share a pix of my new diff covers. They turned out exactly as I hoped. I got the Motobilt kits from the website for the JL rubicon axles. I had a friend tig weld them. I could have mig welded but probably wouldn’t have done as good a job. I added a fill plug to the top left corner, using a Jeep JL oil pan drain plug. I got the grill logo from eBay. It was a stainless steel keychain that we tacked on. Powder coated fire engine red and the sanded the grill logo back to stainless. I think they turned out great.

Next step is to get the potting goop to do Shawns (ChevyMitchell) trick on the locker sensor.

Be careful of those flat diff covers. The ridge in the ring gear side of good diff covers is to facilitate fluid flow back to the pinion bearing. Banks (diesel) posted a very good YT vidoe on that.
