Did I get the wrong color Blue??

We have the Hydro Blue and love it. Hydro Blue is a pearlescent paint so it will change significantly based on the light. I feel that in bright light that it is a light blue and I find it a medium blue in low light.

Well said. Note the gradation of color affected by early morning light within this single photo. Hydro at its best.

Idk about photos but hydro blue is one of the most amazing jeep colors in person. It’s literally mesmerizing with subtle differences from morning to afternoon to around sunset.

You should never buy a vehicle solely based on color and never order a color that you haven't seen in person if you are finicky about colors...The other thing to remember, especially on Pearl Colors, they will appear to change color based on lighting.

That said, if you were going to characterize Hydro Blue, most would describe it as being a brighter blue instead of a darker one.

I was initially sold on Snazzberry, but drug my feet and it was no longer available…so I went with Hydro Blue. I just wanted a color and my husband said no green, yellow, orange, and most definitely not pink (I tried). He wanted red. And while firecracker is a great red I saw a gladiator in hydro and was sold. The variations in the color are so pretty. It’s light, dark, and bright all at the same time. The angles of the Jeep make it have different colors depending on where you are standing. Just hoping it will be here before summer.

but if Bikini had been an option…there is no doubt I would be waiting on a Bikini Sahara Altitude!

Damn. It's definitely not what I thought it was going to be. You guys are right, there is the ocean blue which is way darker, and this looks to be a more medium blue. What the website kinda depicts and what I expected I guess is more like the Chief Blue. I'm really bummed now. I mean the blue looks okay. But not that excited anymore

The color you want is bikini - you can find that in a 20 or 21 model

My hydro blue Gladiator is much more bright and much bluer than it shows in the configurator.

I actually was not thrilled by the color in the configurator. It wasn't until I saw it in a Youtube video that my interest was piqued. So I found one that a dealer had and went down to look at it.

On my monitor, this photo portrays my jeep's color correctly. This is a combination of sun and shade.

This is straight shade. Its a really great BRIGHT color. Not even close to Navy Blue.

Nothing on the lots in November when I ordered, I visited every local dealership to get an idea of the latest color range - no one had ANY new wranglers - I did see a few black gladiators, and one used silver of some shade from a few years back. Not really helpful. The best I could do was come look at the color forums here online, thankfully!
