I know the exact same feeling, I went to pick up the Jeep after having the dealer install a hitch and much to my surprise, the trailer was not included.
What bullshit! The service manager didn’t say a word about having to pay separately for the trailer. Now I’m stuck with a hitch that has no useful purpose.

I bought 5 new wheels, and boy was I pissed when I went to pick them up and there were no tires on them. They should've told me!

polarized glasses? They do weird things.
Yeah and they're a bad choice for driving. Polarized lenses (well, REAL polarized lenses, not the $20 drug-store variety) mess with depth perception because of how they cancel light. That's something you don't want while piloting a 2-ton machine among people and other 2-ton machines. They're great for use on or around bodies of water though.

Cliff Notes:

Dealership took longer than expected installing what I exactly asked for but failed to read my mind for wanting the other half of the equation.

I have exclusively used polarized for most of my adult life and not cheap sunglasses. Usually Bolle but currently wearing Maui Jim's. While it definitely affects how I see some rear windows, it definitely doesn't affect depth perception nor have I ever felt they were a hinderance while driving.

For the guy with the tint, my tint shop had examples of all their tints and I looked at them all with and without my sunglasses. Any owner of polarized sunglasses should know that they do wonky shit with other polarized glass.

But, yes. The tint shop should have a disclaimer. Not to mention the product cost for them to swallow on the little bit of tint wasnt worth losing a customer and the following negative reviews.

Jeep sales team training class: treat customers like rancid garbage so they won’t bother negotiating and will just leave you alone sooner. Oh, and they can’t buy a custom factory Jeep anywhere else, so like patsies they’ll come back for more. Like flies to the stink. You, as Jeep salesmen, are the stink. Class dismissed.

Lots of people use polarized glasses for driving. This doesn't change the fact that a polarizing filter affects depth perception. You may not notice it, but that doesn't mean it's not happening.

Many people aren't bothered by the polar effect on LCD screens either, but it's still a thing.

i have a glass screen protector on my phone (made by ONN I think), and if I am wearing my polarized sunglasses, it makes it extremely difficult to look at the phone screen...

Is the the tint company's or the person who owns said glasses though? They can't be expected to be concerned about how every person "notices" something. Like I said, it's easy to set up a test board and tell people to take a look at it but as far as culpability, not much more than that IMO.

I don’t have issues with depth perception with my prescription Ray Bans. But I am sensitive to reflections/glare and why I always have my polarized sunglasses on when outside.

I was talked into ceramic tint for the windshield and should have been clear, but it was darker (I feel this may have made the issue worse) and I did not want my windshield tinted darker. The side windows was whatever 3M standard tint is and I have zero issues with those windows. This shop has done my previous vehicles and my aunts. So I was a repeat customer, who has referred others.

But when I spoke with the owner, he argues it’s 100% compatible with polarized sunglasses and has the same tint in his vehicles, with zero issues with his polarized glasses. Therefore I had to be full of shit or that’s how I took it from what he was saying… We had a long phone conversation, stating he couldn’t afford to offer a refund and I was welcome to come back to try it again (I assumed at my cost). His claim, was that it needed to dry.

The problem is not the noticing. It's not a matter of complaints. It's a matter of not being able to correctly judge distance. This is an especially big concern on bright days because that's when the effect is at its worst. It's something that can potentially cause accidents in the right situation.

When i'm not driving, the tricks that polarizing filters play on depth perception are only a nuisance that bug me because I have OCD. The benefits of polarized lenses in many cases easily outweigh these minor inconveniences. However unless you are driving a boat, there are not really any significant benefits to polarized lenses while driving. Which is why I don't wear them for driving. They are a net detriment in that application.

For me, it cuts down on the glare off other cars windows and after it rains, the glare off the road when the sun comes back out is really bad for me.
