I am more concerned with speaker placement and direction though.. We could put the best speakers into these and have them face out the back of the Jeep and completely mess up the soundstage.I think they have both I just am not sure about the quality of the speakers and amps they have available
Running topless the sound received from the speakers facing away from you would be residual off-axis.
Running with a top the sound would be bouncing all over the place before getting to our ears which would grossly mess up the time alignment and the EQ as some frequencies would be absorbed by the interior while others would not.
Having the soundbar face the rear of the Jeep is more for shows and tailgating events. Maybe that's what they were going for?
