Update to this thread.

My 2018 JLUR 3.6L had the orangie-pink coolant when I drained it.

The new Mopar MS 90032 concentrate I bought from Amazon ($24) was purple. YMMV.
It started off purple. It burns orange over time.

Is there any real reason not to use a non mopar equivalent? I have a '21 392 and seems to me that Zerex Purple G30 pre mixed seems is the same OAT coolant. Though they also have an 'orange' version that matches the spec.

@AFD good call on the Amazon link, that is still active.

Hopefully my only concern for awhile will be topping off the coolant and not looking for a more complicated problem...

Availability and price. At any given time, just get what you can get.

With critical fluids (like coolant), don't cheap out over $10. Buy the OEM stuff and be done. It's just not worth it.

Absolutely agreed. This isn't like adding fluid to an old CJ.
But I'm low on fluid and Amazon won't get to my address in time.

No...use only MOPAR OAT 50/50 mixed antifreeze. I purchase mine from Amazon. With these other so called our antifreeze is compatible with all other antifreezes. Is it really worth the gamble of plugging up your engines cooling system? For me it is not. But every body to their own.........

Just put some distilled water in it and not worry.

Distilled water or a good auto parts store ( we have a Napa that's independently owned and the guy has a LOT of non Napa items like OEM antifreeze, oil etc).

So, who here has had a problem with aftermarket anti-freeze in their JL when they bought the type specified for the JL?

There isn’t any science behind this sort of claim.

I suggest that you re-read my post. I stated that it is a gamble using it, not that it definitely would cause a problem. That is my opinion, of which I am entitled to. I also so stated, everybody to their own. In this day and age, of unethical marketing. Why not use common sense, and just use what the factory recommends?
The last word is yours, so go for it.........
