  1. What's your go to engine oil for your Jeep?

    The Penzoil doesn't have a nice foil seal like most Castrol products do. Penzoil only uses the plastic ring which is hit & miss as sometimes it just unscrews with the cap!

    Check it on another site but the 68163849AB is the 50/50 & the 68163848AB is the concentrate which is what I have for our 2018 3.6 V6

    Our 2018 manual obviously doesn't do that but my 22 Challenger also has auto park. Very annoying for sure!

    You could tap threads into it without any problem. Just be sure you use the tap that matches the thread on the screw:-)

  13. Class action law suit, regarding Pentastar 3.6 engine defective valve train roller bearing failures.

    Class actions rarely if ever benefit the consumer, the lawyers make out like bandit though!

    Try an ozone machine for the smell. It really shouldn't be that bad unless you cooked it real good:-)

    I'm absolutely not which is why I'm simply going to wait for the OEM clutch to fail then my son & I will install the ACT system. The OEM one has 80K on it and has been fine this whole time. If it were going to fail with the way my wife drives it it would have a long time ago:-)

    Clearing it is a formality that's not needed ever.

    The flywheel isn't being recalled just the clutch/pressure plate assembly.

    Your'e correct, I remember reading about that. An actual thermocouple in the bell-housing would be interesting though with the air gap between the actual pressure plate and the housing probably of no value.

    There's no thermocouple on the old transmission, not sure if/how they would add one with the recall work
