Sorry, didn't get the message in time to measure the angle of the axle for you before I left the shop. I have attached my measurements and changing my caster from a 9 to a 6 made a huge difference for me. Driving over the same potholes that i usually do and the steering wheel wobble is gone.

Now that we know 90 degrees is 6degree caster. Would you be able/ willing to measure bolt to bolt on the lower control arm and upper if possible? Im curious to see how far off thier suggested specs are from what you have. Apparently mine is 6.5 degrees caster and my lower arms are 24 1/4 and the uppers are about 20 3/8.

It will have to wait until morning. I work all night. But I have no problem getting that measurement from my arms for ya in the morning.

I wonder why [Banned Site] says to get the measurement off the axle at 88 degrees then. Would there be a reason for more caster? I would assume he had a reason for this.

88 would put it pretty close to right around plus or minus 4.8ish for jl spec? Maybe he was going by the book?

Wouldn't 88 be more caster or am I confusing myself?
I have no clue man i laid under my jeep for hours looking at my angle finder which only goes to 90 then back down either way. It confused the hell out of me. I was assuming 88 meant less caster and 92 meant more. That was the range he gave wasnt it?

I was reading over it again, youre right i had it backwards my bad

I checked mine again with the angle finder, my driveway slope is 6 degrees, and the pinion and the front of the axle read at 84 degrees

if that is your measurement you should be good. I am actually going to take my front cover off and measure there. It is much flatter than the circle next to the housing. Plus i have diff covers to go on. I am going to probably have to lengthen my lower control arm to move the diff forward a bit and then lengthen the uppers as well.

I see you're in AZ also. If you are in the Phoenix area I was wondering where you ended up taking it to get that alignment and what they charged. I just put the 2.5 GC lift on my jeep and it seems to wonder around a little more than before. I haven't measured anything yet but I assume my caster is off.

Well the range was only because he's doing a 2 degree difference from 90 and depending on how your gauge works it would either be 92 or 88.

Network Automotive in Mesa. The alignment was $89.99 and added another $85.00 shop hour labor rate on top of that for removing the lower control arms on both sides to decrease caster.

Anyone with JUST front LCAs and a lift that can measure length? I stopped at 4wp the other day since they're local and competent but they are so backed up they told me they couldn't even get me in till the first week of January .
