And most Ford dealers will want $70-80K with markup.
Only at the beginning. How much dealer markup would be on the first Hemi JLs? Ford can’t play a volume game with dealer gouging....I think we will all win....

I traded a very low mile 2017 2.7L Ecoboost Ford Fusion Sport for my 2020 Jeep JL 3.6L. Just visit the Ford Fusion Sport Forum. and read about the problems and dissatified owners. I'll take the 3.6L (and did) any day. My warranty ran out and I didn't want to live with that mess of an engine.
I have the 2.7 in my Ford Edge Sport...so far, so good. The 3.6 pentastar forums are not exactly problem free....

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Hate to say it but I like the looks, not so sure about a Turbo 4, it puts out 300hp. But I am Jeep tried and True.
Pretty much my take, the 76 Bronco was something I always wanted, so I have a soft spot for some of those design cues that the new Bronco brings back. Not liking the 4 dr or that Sport edition, but I'd rock that 2 dr (assuming it turns out to be a solid vehicle).

I get the sense from the commercial that Ford is targeting the "go fast Offroad" segment, compared to the Jeep "low and slow rock crawler" segment.
...
Do you blame them? That makes for way better adrenaline pumping video. Two miles an hour over rocks and boulders isn’t exactly exciting to watch.

Another vote for a “Both” option....I can see a 2dr Bronco sitting next to the 2dr JLR some day.

I know it's an old video, but you should check out the torture test on the Ecoboost:
ecoboost torture test

I had an ecoboost in a short bed f150: the only reason I got rid of the truck is because the suspension wasn't quite up to hauling a 29" fifth wheel: but i guarantee there wasn't a hill around that could beat the power of the ecoboost. the Jeep will be my daughter's, but if I ever get another 150 (currently have a 350), I t will guaranteed be an exoboost

So, not that anyone will read or care, but a few red flags for me on the Bronco:
-no manual t-case option
-lots of talk of position-sensing shocks. I had a 'Burb once with GM's fancy Auto Ride shocks and they're EXPENSIVE...plus it complicates lifting in an aftermarket environment. Maybe a tuner for the Bronco can just delete but now that I think about it I'm extremely grateful the Wranglers still use basic "dumb" shocks with no electrical connections. I hope Jeep doesn't go down this particular rabbit hole in an attempt to be competitive.

I've never once wished my JL had power seats (shrug)

The introduction of the Bronco should only motivate FCA to keep improving the Wrangler one would hope
Or it’ll motivate to FCA continue to do what it does and instead Ford brings the Bronco in line with the Wrangler. Would this movement be considered an upward, downward or static trajectory? Depends on your viewpoint.

I am sticking team jeep, no doubt. I love my jeep and have had a lot of fun with it. I plan to keep it a long time.

However, the Bronco does have some cool features. I love the body mounted mirrors. Great Idea! I also like the mount on the dash and the GOAT modes for the 4WD.

Hopefully this pushes FCA/Jeep to add some innovation going forward. Competition is always good.

Currently a very happy Jeep owner... but let's see how the two match up in a few years... say 2022/23. Folks jumping ship right now are basically... "Look Shiny Object!".
Don’t you just love jumping ship but the other boat isn’t available yet?

Wonder if this introduction may change Jeep dealer behaviour. Looking at some forums on this site, it seems many Jeep dealers were straight up jerks because they knew there is no other competition from another manufacturer.
Every brand has their shitty dealers they all should up their game. Customers spending big money should be appreciated and serviced properly. I am fortunate to have a dealer that has a very high rating and the ownership family are personal friends that are customer and community centric.
