So, I tried to remove my windows. This happened. The 872 videos I watched on the subject gave me false confidence, I guess. Can't be repaired. (Obviously.)
I pressed the Jeep Assist button in the Wrangler. I don't know if this is @JeepCares or what. The rep who answered gave me the phone number to a car lot near me and said they're closed -- call tomorrow to make an appointment. She said it won't be covered by warranty because I did it, it wasn't a defect. (Fwiw, I don't think she had any idea what a Wrangler is -- like the windows are actually removable...) I asked her if it was safe for me to drive down the road without the window clipped in place. She (without saying a word) transferred me to another department/line which ended up being roadside assistance. The lady there, obviously, didn't know if it was okay -- she, very politely and patiently, said they send out rescue crews and don't deal with stuff like that.
So, I will call a local dealership tomorrow. But, is my window going to fall off if I drive my Jeep as it is? I'm wondering if I should tape it or something. And, if I take it to a dealer and they decide it's not covered under warranty, am I going to have to pay them for looking at it?
(<7 hours of ownership, <300 miles)
Thanks for any help/advice in these next 11 hours while I wait...
