It happened to me AGAIN!
While driving my brand new JL home in May 2023, I stopped to take off the windows, and part of the rear driver's side window snapped. (https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/broken-window-post.113873/)
Now, in April 2026, I was putting on my windows, and when my passenger side window wasn't seating correctly, I noticed this under the clip on the Jeep. I'm sure I'm well past any warranty or good will freebies.
So ... epoxy?

And has this ever happened to anyone else?It seems unlikely it's happened to me twice, and never to anyone else

I have one that is snapped (fully functional but half the handle is broke) but usable. DM me if you want it. You can have it.

That's gotta suck. That's part of the vertical plastic frame in the window? Last I checked, you can't buy that plastic without buying the whole window, even though it's only a few screws that hold it on. Epoxy could be a good option. What was the fix the first time it happened?

I've never broken that piece, but I did have to replace the piece that the top of that frame goes into. A little bit of work, but at least I could buy that part and it wasn't too expensive.

FWIW, I was told to release the front latches, and flip the sunrider to release tension on everything, even when only removing the windows. Haven't broken anything since...
