Has anyone had the piece on a soft top side window that fits into the tailgate bracket break? I can't figure out if that plastic part can be replaced without replacing the whole window. The dealership couldn't help, Bestop said they don't have rights to the JL and I'd have to call Jeep, Jeep sent me to an email for their Mopar parts (haven't heard back), no help at Quadratec. Broken part is at the bottom of the picture.

Is that the tab on the side window that broke? I'm almost certain you'd have to buy another window panel.

It shows you have a 2021, so it should still be covered under warranty I would think. Dealer should replace whatever needs replacing.

Has anyone been able to locate a part # for the post? Or still stuck on replacing entire assembly.

Looks like buying a whole new window is the only option. I found one on FB Marketplace

Old thread but the issue was new to me today. I used loctite’s plastic bonding system and 2 #4 screws. With just the screws it already feels like it is stronger than before. There is no play up down or side to side. The screws I used didn’t recess into the plastic much. After the glue sets I’m going to put something soft between the screws and the material for the window to protect the soft top.

used a 1/16” drill bit for the pilot holes for the #4 screws.
