Just ask @cosine he knows!
Okay the next question... where do you get a torque wrench that isn't $200-$300 that does inch pounds?!?! I'm just hoping my bolts are at the correct specs.
Harbor freight has 1/4" drive torque wrenches for inch pounds, cost $15 or less.

I use an adjustable clutch/ adjustable speed drill. On the lower torque limit and speed settings your not overpowering the nut at all when re-inserting. I have taken my hard top off countless times last summer (don't have a soft top yet) and never have had an issue so far and you can dial-in the torque perfectly, I use the same drill for the Torque nuts of the doors holders.

Harbor Freight. Just bought one recently for $20, I believe. But I've never worried about hardtop bolts, I just go hand tight. Speaking of HF, I bought the Harbor Freight Earthquake electric ratchet for $90 and I love using that thing. When/if that one dies, I'll go Milwaukee.

For the hardtop, I use a Dewalt electric screwdriver with right angle adapter. Bolts go in and out in a flash.

Hi All
I removed my hardtop for first time. Used the supplied Mopar tool kit to remove screws. It works fine, just slow
Decided to use my screw gun and was much faster
Should I buy a right angle attachment for my Dewalt?
This seems to be best solution in my opinion
Anyone else using something that's better?
Any advice is appreciated
I like the screw gun for removal but I prefer the hand tools for tightening.

I use my Milwaukee 1/4" drive cordless ratchet, but only because I already had it. I wouldn't spend money for one exclusively for hardtop removal. It just doesn't take that long with the Jeep tool kit.

@jaymz

I agree.

I use the Milwaukee 1/4" drive cordless ratchet for the doors, hardtop and more... A terrific tool to have at your disposal. I've gotten lots of use of my Milwaukee over the years..

I use the 3/8" M12.

Looking back, I'd think a combo of the 1/4" M12 and the 3/8" M12 Fuel would be a good set.

My M12 3/8 looks like the same chassis as the 1/4, and I wish it had some more power. Would definitely reduce the amount of times I have to break a nut/bolt then switch to the Milwaukee.

hand tight would not be tight enough at all! Hand tight would be using your hand to screw it in, definitley need to use a tool. At least that's what I consider hand tight. Otherwise you could say "hand tight... with a 12' long handled wrench" and that would be like 1000ft/lbs hahahah

I honestly just used my electric screwdriver. I bought replacement bolts off amazon when they started stripping.
