Best place to buy a hardtop?

I I learned that I can not pull my Jeep in the garage with the top part just flipped back. Yep a costly mistake. So I have decided that I am just going to buy a hardtop but can’t really find one for a 2 door jl. Any ideas where the best place would be? Pus the dealer said it would be July before they could get me one

Why not pull it closed before you go in the garage?

While I don’t understand the reasoning for getting a hardtop, the best place would probably be Craigslist, Facebook marketplace or the for sale forum here. I imagine any place you try to buy it new through would see the same delays as the dealer.

That said, a 2 door may be harder to find.

Because it has been in the garage 50 times. Just never while the top was flipped back.

Okay, so too add some more detail to your original post, is that it got caught on the garage door opening and damaged it?

My take was that you decided that you wanted a hardtop because you could not drive in with the front part of the top retracted.

Shame there’s so much distance and a closed road border between us - I’m open to selling my 2dr hardtop.
