Bad Welds

This complaint sounds like it’s from an employee or contractor that was sent to reweld frames.

I thought the frames were made by hyundai mobis in Toledo? Maybe the frames are made by Tower and then sent to Toledo and hyundai mobis assembles the chassis module for Jeep.

It’s a great question. The complaint found on NHTSA directly correlates to customer concerns (most notably the case of the track bar weld breaking during highway speed). Just because someone makes a complaint w/ NHTSA doesn’t mean it’s true, however, you’d think a journalist may want to investigate. Prove it false & put us at ease or validate it, & motivate Jeep to get transparent.
