Backup camera green screen, not working sometimes

Why Toyota, this is a Jeep forum and I have a 2018 JL Wrangler. There is a problem with the camera that is causing the narrow field of view. I have already taken it to the dealer who told me they are waiting on a software update.
My suggestion was not to ask Toyota to fix it , nor for you to purchase a Toyota camera , but to see how it ought to look . You want wide view Cinerama , not squeezed into a skinny view alley .

My suggestion was merely an opportunity for you to compare . Myself , I don't need any back up camera , and I think it is a waste of money . I have two eyes and three mirrors . And if I back into a Bentley or a Rolls , I will feel the bump , lol .

I have a Jeep for the engine and the strong capability , not for electronic gadgets , back up camera , infotainment , nor blue teeth . The Army will never name a military vehicle a "Microsoft " "Big Strongware" is better than "Micro software" anyday . lol .

Now my back up camera is showing the blue screen... took it to the dealer this morning and the service tech was aware of the issue but said they can't fix it until FCA creates an update to fix... I was told the same thing two months ago... @JeepCares where you at?

How do you back up in the meantime ?

No. I've had an open Star case since September with absolutely no follow up from the dealership or FCA. Very disappointed. On the last visit to the dealership in September my Jeep was there for 3 days and they "reconnected the wiring" and did other things but did not replace anything. This made it happen less frequently but it still happens. Initially the dealership blamed it on Uconnect and a pending software update. I've received all the current updates and no fix. Once the dealership realized that I had all the updates and they were still able to verify the problem they then opened the Star Case (not sure what this is but they made it seem like it was something important).
