It's one thing for an owner, another for another party to disable safety features.
You get hurt, your family can sue the crap out of him.
It's illegal for anyone but you.
It's like TPMS - if any shop sends a vehicle out with a TPMS system not working but it was working when it came in, they are violating federal law. If they put tires on your vehicle that won't work with TPMS - they are liable.
You can do what you want, your life, but for someone else...............
It's their because people have died (people, as in plural). You can take that risk, another person can't do it for you.
