I vote to keep it original Jeep. It sounds like the main focus is lift and daily driver. The original jlur is fairly serious off roader and the 4 door springs on your 2dr should give a little higher lift due to weight difference. Bonus, Iām not positive but I think the LCAās should give you more...
Great heads-up and writeup. I'm looking for a solution to my similar problem with no fan, causing higher temperatures and overheating smells and hoped this was the answer... not to be. But I'm very happy you were able to resolve your issue. I've had similar experiences with the dealership's...

Has anyone had an oil cooler replaced by a dealer under warranty?
I'm wondering if this item is covered by either the three or five year warranty?
If you did, what was your experience?
Thank you.
Iām wondering if you had a chance yet to get the dealers take on repairing an oil cooler leak under warranty. Maybe the three year but Iāve heard not under the five year drive train warranty. I would appreciate your feedback if you do.
I ended up using the end that fit best around the upper cone shaped isolator. I never heard anyone mention that it would make any difference. I havenāt seen anything in installation instructions either.
Anyway I just went ahead and installed what seemed like the best fit and of course indexing...
I am installing a Rubicon suspension on my JLSS and have a quick question. Do the coils have a specific end that should go up? While installing I noticed the ends are close to the same but not exactly.
Anyone know for sure and how do I tell?
Thanks.
I ran mine under the cowl, then down the firewall to just below the brake cylinder. I brought it in using the clutch hole plug. Push and turn from inside out, it will drop to the floor. Then I drilled a hole in this plug a little oversized to allow a snug fitting rubber grommet from Home Depot...
I wonder what results I would get with a Dynatrac suspension on my JLSS 2DR. Currently itās upgraded with springs and wheels from a 2DR JLR plus Fox 2.0 shocks (untuned).
Iām excited reading the good reviews about DT but they donāt make a set for 2 doors. Iām concerned about losing something...
I have a 2-Door JL Sport S and am considering stepping up to a set of adjustable shocks. My 2-Door has Rubicon take-off wheels/tires and Fox 2.0 IFP shocks. I have the take-off springs and plan to install soon. I travel trails mild to rough and would like to be able to dial-in a more controlled...
