It's one thing for an owner, another for another party to disable safety features.
You get hurt, your family can sue the crap out of him.
It's illegal for anyone but you.
It's like TPMS - if any shop sends a vehicle out with a TPMS system not working but it was working when it came in, they are violating federal law. If they put tires on your vehicle that won't work with TPMS - they are liable.
You can do what you want, your life, but for someone else...............
It's their because people have died (people, as in plural). You can take that risk, another person can't do it for you.

This is reportedly the drill if it goes into auto-park— Brake, put in park, put in drive, belt on, press start button 2x ( no brake), when belt indicator goes off quickly disconnect & reconnect at least 3X, turn off…… Don’t know if it works ...
I thought it was up, up, down, down, left, right, left right, B, A, B, A, Select, Select, Start

You forgot: Click your heels 3 times and repeat "there's no place like home".

The only way I knew how to disable auto park is a tazer which I have done. If it isn't operational I wouldn't care that's an undesirable option as is the auto off and on which is disabled with the tazer as well. But hell we are always learning something new.
First time I used it, I didn't know about it. Scared the hell out of me at first. It just reminds me again that there was a time the owners manual explained how to adjust your lifters. Now it just tells you not to drink battery acid.
Yup!

I'm in drive and opened the door I'm trying to get back to the menu that read " auto park disabled, Not an attention seeker or a wacko looking to mislead people just wondering how it's done I'll have to go back to the car wash Saturday to speak to the owner. But have a good day. ?

I would really like that!

Other than potentially off-roading, under what circumstances would auto-park be intrusive? It's kicked in a few times for me (like jumping out to check the mail), but it's always been a "good" thing.

If you had a gate that required two vehicle exits in just over a vehicle length you’re opinion would quickly vary. Edit— I didn’t attempt the disable drill because I can enable/ disable as needed with an extension in a moment.

I find it annoying as hell any time I am doing something like fine-backing my trailer where I want to be able to lean out and look behind me.

I really wish there was a button to disable it as easily as one can disable ESS.
