I came across another under-body solution that I’ll be trying out instead. For a short time the company AccuAir built a 3 in 1 compressor/tank/valve set up, pricey but my god it looked like a glorious set up! Unfortunately its no longer in production, however Horn Blasters had ONE 3 gallon CT model (compressor/tank) in bronze so I snatched that up, and they still had a grey one left I believe. Next to the exhaust is a good 21x8x8” area that this 18x6x6” kit will fit perfectly in, I’ll just have my local metal shop fab up a skid plate/mount for it. I’ll report back in once I figure out what it took to get things running!

Definitely seems overengineered! Which I appreciate considering I tend to overdue anything I’m installing for fear of failure or doing it over in general haha

This is another cool option which could allow you to stuff the compressor anywhere-

Did you ever figure out the source of this? I like having a gauge in the cab but this would be outstanding for the setup in general, especially if its possible to take out the insert piece and fab up something to fit just the gauges/fittings you want there.

Doesn't it look like a render though?

It looks like maybe that outer cover might be, I just thought it reflected light differently being plastic mounted to the metal body part. I’m not the brightest though ??‍♂?

The outer cover and door are oem for the 4xe plugin. In this pic the 4xe internals are replaced to account for air. There are a few threads out there about doing this...havent been able to find these exact internals though. Would love it if somebody was actually doing this, wouldn't be that hard. I would sure buy it.

I have a 2021 JLUR, ARB CKMTP12 (portable) converted to a CKMTA12, and mounted under the passenger seat using an ARB 3550220 mount, all found here:

https://arbusa.com/air-compressors/on-board-air-compressors/

I use a MOORFlate kit with a 7.5 foot hose extension, so I can air up/down evenly and very quickly.

https://myoffroadradio.com/morrflate-off-road-4-tire-inflation-deflation-kit/

I had a reinforced custom power extension loom cut so I could route behind the driver's seat, around to the firewall, and around to the battery.

I had Kelly Industrial Supply cut a replacement hose so one end faces one way and the other end faces the other way. As you can see in the attached image, trying to MacGyver things wasn't working out. :)

A few issues I had to overcome:
  • I had to raise my passenger seat rear bracket ends by 1/2 inch or so, since the under seat wiring kept hitting the top of the compressor mounting bracket bolts.
  • I had to add a 7.5 foot air hose extension, so I could route the MOORFlate hose out through the winder, rather than have the door open when I'm airing up/down.
  • The compressor toggle switch is always lit, not sure if I missed a wire in the wiring. I was told not to worry about it since the draw is low, but still, I want to correct that, just don't know how. EDIT: a buddy told me I can disconnect the blue wire, it just means power is available to the on/off switch...apparently you can use an aux switch to manage power going to the compresor, so the blue light would be on if the unit is getting power.
Now that I have a Goose Gear full platform, I'm thinking I might replace the ARB dual compressor mount with the one that sits the compressor flat on the cabin floor.

Hello from what I can tell there are no solutions currently available for the 392 to mount an ARB twin compressor. It looks like American adventure labs is working on some thing, but we really don’t know how long that will be. I wanted to see if I was correct in my research and there is nothing on the market at this time or did I miss something?
Josiah, mines being installed tomorrow and they are putting it in the rear left somewhere around the wheel well. I have a rear rack installed so he said they may do a custom set up by mounting it to the rack and running an air Chuck to the rear where it’s super accessible. Hit me back if you want some pics.
Robert.

I went with the under the seat mount, it’s actually funny… I’m working on the release valve right now so once once all tires get to 33 psi it automatically releases. I love this system!

I’m open my friend just let me know I’m finally getting everything dialed in after the holidays.
I’m in the process of getting that ARB installed and then my GG windshield replaced so I’ll hit you up after that’s done. Any interest in doing the Pioneertown to Big Bear trail? We may do that next Saturday.
