65 years young, installed front and rear SteerSmarts in about an hour and half…counting a beer. I then went to my local shop and had an alignment done, along with a tire rotation…$125., and they even checked the torque.

1/2 Hour for me but I have probably changed 20 some over the years . I generally just stand a 4' level on garage floor about center of the tire vertically tight to the bottom of a tire paying attention to any type of side wall tread or raised lettering so both sides match . I measure to the edge of the fender flare from a plumb level being thats what most of us visually look at ,the flares to tire . besides being off a hair wont effect anything.....71 years young

I know it's an old thread, but since it's been revived I'll give my trackbar advice for all JLs and JTs, but especially lifted ones with big tires. The factory holes and even the sleeves in the OEM track bars are too big for the metric hardware. 9/16" bolts fit with no drilling despite being .2875mm larger than the stock 14mm bolts. Much better fit and most aftermarket sleeves are slightly larger than the OEM ones so it's even more important.

1/2 hour max if done correctly. The key is measuring BEFORE you remove the old trackbar.

How many hours of labor should I expect to pay for to have a TeraFlex adjustable trackbar installed on my 2020 JLU? Cost will vary based on shop rates but I'm curious on how many hours the installation, adjustment/axle centering I should expect.

I just had my steer smarts track bar and sector shaft brace installed a couple days ago. Then I went ahead and had an alignment as well (it was pulling before hand). Labor hours were only 1.75. I supplied parts paid $320.

side note…hella good investment for wandering steering. I installed fox thru shaft dampener already as well.
