Done. Also PMd.

Anyone who is interested (there seems to be quite a few interested) ought to chime in on the Tazer JL thread

Just curious do you guys have this setting under Settings > Doors and locks? Its the last one you have to scroll down and it shows "Passive Entry" ... just wondering if you guys checked if you have this there or not? I'm guessing its not there and requires a dealer flash or help from the Tazer but maybe by some odd chance it showed up and you just have to check the box?

If not at least this is an easy way to see if the flash is working properly or not once someone tries it out, this setting should show up as its here on JLs with factory proximity locks

It is missing on the 7".....going to assume you have to have the dealer enable or Tazer.

No, settings not there. Joe from zautomotive responded. He’s gone way farther. Yes, at least some Jeeps are prewired/have most components. The RFH module is initialized from the factory for what it does and cannot be changed. There seems to be no way to enable it to perform passive entry functions. I’m summarizing, but Joe is actively working this, but it just does not seem possible. Even dealer will have same issues-if they even would attempt!

I was wondering if you tried anything else or this is a no way, factory only?

MANY JEEPS!
Note to all its not a lot of cost to add and it transforms the way you interact with the vehicle. just get it!

It would cost about $5k more to add it from the factory to our Sport S as it requires an upgrade to a Sahara.
