Or the people that are like can I run E15 from the cheapest sketchiest gas station in town yet are also afraid of 0w-20. They tend to be the same that are afraid of turbos too
All gas is the same, there's no difference in additives, it's all mixed up on the truck anyway

Or the same people that think that synthetic oil is not a petrochemical product.

I run 87 and 0w20, but won't tell other people what to do. If I have problems it's on me. If I don't, meh.
We're at the point in this thread where you just have to let the thread go. It's a kids echo chamber now. They'll spend the rest of their time here reassuring each other that what they think and have is best.

BTW I used 0w-20 and 87 on my 3.6's too. It's fine. But once this gang gets together here, there's no point in continuing.

Timing chain tensioners are also not an uncommon failure in any other chain engine. They get replaced along with guides when you do standard preventative maintenance on them.

Unlike Cam Shafts ......
So the rattle at start-up I hear about 50% of the time is the timing chain tensioner? Is that a fairly easy adjustment? And if the dealer can't replicate it, is it a known issue they should tighten up anyway while I am still under warranty?

It could also be the wastegate actuator if its just a quick rattle then goes away.

Eh hem, they are me and I am them. We have the funz and every once in a while accidentally adult and say something meaningful. I get it though, when you get hit by the slinging shit it's annoying, for us it's a badge of honor.

I don't think you are. I don't think remorseless is either. I know you spend time with them as he does, but you and he are clearly a bit more mature.

There's a big difference between participating in meme wars regularly (I do that too) and the little man syndrome that some of these guys suffer from.
