Mr. Stellantis is waiting outside your home and says there's a top secret recall on your Jeep. He brought two brand new Jeeps with the exact same options you already have. One is a 3.6, the other is a 2.0. Which one are you taking?

Clearly the 2.0 so I can make turbo noises at old people to scare them with newfangled technology

Also for the engine that makes better power so you can drive away from the v6 manual luddites as they sit there praying this isnt the time their jeep burns to the ground.

In Jeeps I have had:

4.0L
3.8L
3.6L
3.6L eTorque
2.0L 4xe
1.3L
2.4L

So far the two most reliable were the 4.0L and, believe it or not, the 3.8L (both over 200K miles with zero issues). Next in line would be the 3.6L eTorque.

Im sure it was the "xe" part of the 2.0 you had that caused all your issues.

Perhaps. Is the lawnmower sound when it is running on fuel only an xe thing?

If you do not think the correct answer is the 392 then you have not been paying attention to the other 3183 threads asking the same question.
This is completely self serving and I can't afford a 392, nor do I want to pay more for gas (or insurance). I believe it was $6.05 per gallon last week here in CA.

If the 4XE wasn't such a disaster, I might be considering it.
