And have your engine sound like farts while you do it,.Also for the engine that makes better power so you can drive away from the v6 manual luddites as they sit there praying this isnt the time their jeep burns to the ground.
The 4xe gets the worst gas mileage out of all the wranglers lolThis is completely self serving and I can't afford a 392, nor do I want to pay more for gas (or insurance). I believe it was $6.05 per gallon last week here in CA.
If the 4XE wasn't such a disaster, I might be considering it.
Not when it's running on electric power (and not ON FIRE).The 4xe gets the worst gas mileage out of all the wranglers lol
thats why i did the muffler delete. I cant hear shit!Sometimes it's good to have poor hearing.
Hearing farts driving around while the v6s sittin the dealers for cams is a good trade in my book. Also pretty lame worrying about how your exhaust soundsAnd have your engine sound like farts while you do it,.
Yup, and people ask me if my MT tires are loud. They are COMPLETELY SILENT. But so are a lot of things like crickets, helicopters. Or even stuff I pretend to not hear.thats why i did the muffler delete. I cant hear shit!
all those 4x4 owners who like to offroad in “silence”….i dont want to hear squeaking, rattling and groaning…..
coming from my wife in the passenger seat, or my jeep!
Who is Mr. Stellantis and what’s his affiliation with Jeep?Mr. Stellantis is waiting outside your home and says there's a top secret recall on your Jeep. He brought two brand new Jeeps with the exact same options you already have. One is a 3.6, the other is a 2.0. Which one are you taking?
The 2.0 runs like a Deere, John that is!Because its broken. The 2.0 just sounds like a tractor.
The engine had been in vehicles in one form or another for almost 10 years when you got your Jeep. Saying it was too new is just an excuse cause youre either too manly for a 4cyl or scared of turbos. The problem for me when choosing was there just isn't enough proven reliability for the 2.0 yet. It still falls under the newish/proving itself category. Unlike at the 3.6 that has 15 million produced and proven.
Not saying the 2.0 won't prove itself but it's still in the unknown phase. And with all these manufactures having turbo motor troubles, I just don't trust stelantis enough to have figured it out. And that's why they had to keep the 3.6 around because even they don't know if this motor is going to make it and they knew a lot of people wouldn't buy a jeep if that was the only option.. (my .02 of course)
I've actually been seeing more 2.0 complaints recently. Could be a fluke.
Only time will tell when we start seeing or not seeing more 2.0s at the 150k-200k mark.
That's my #1 hangup regarding the 2.0. Similar to the 3.0 in the Ram, I'm hesitant to trust it. That and just figure with adding the turbo, it's more parts that could fail. Compare it to the Ford EB which has had multiple generations and revisions. I had the 2.7 EB in my 2018 F150 and liked the acceleration. Though at the end of the day, I would trade acceleration for reliability and a bit slower. The problem for me when choosing was there just isn't enough proven reliability for the 2.0 yet. It still falls under the newish/proving itself category. Unlike at the 3.6 that has 15 million produced and proven.
