So for the foreseeable future we can place orders for 21's? I was going to wait until August any way, so figured "great, I'll get a 22." However, if that's not happening until later this year, I'll go ahead and order a '21 in July or so.
Mixed information. Nothing official yet. It's a toss up.

Is there word on a confirmation for end of 2021 orders? Everyone I've talked to doesn't know. As well id really like that gecko color and I won't be able to order until late July due to deployment
Last year, today's date (June 4th) was the last day for 2020 orders, and June 5th was the beginning of 2021 orders.

Apparently everything going on in the world has screwed up that pattern this year, so honestly I'd say nobody knows for sure what the cut-off date is going to be.

If you can order gecko today, I would do it now. With production delays the way they are, it is libel to take additional Months to get an order built. (If they are even accepting orders ?)

I went ahead and started getting quotes from dealers this week, but plan to wait a couple of weeks before I actually order. If it is June after all, I'll be good. If not, I'll be ready to pull the trigger.

I am considering doing the same thing the only issue is if it is a couple weeks from now and there are different options I will have to go back create a new build sheet and re-email all the dealers. I would rather just have confirmation that ordering won’t open till late September then I can make a decision

Yeah, seems so. Oh well, not in a hurry so let’s see what (if anything) develops over the next couple of weeks.

Yeah once someone post something that looks official here and that exact document is confirmed by at least 10 different dealerships I will probably take it as truth

I need to find a color I like because bullet silver is the only one I love.

I might be doing the opposite of waiting for the 2022s and trying to find a used 2021 because the options I want are not common and I really like silver!
Problem will be, you can get a new 22' for the price of a used 21'. It's a stupid market.

Dealer (Idaho) told me MY22 not till December.
That's the info they received this week.

Can't confirm their communication just passing on what they told me yesterday.

I was also told today that the 2022 Wrangler and 2022 Grand Cherokee (2 row) will have the order banks open much later this year. I already have my order in and was checking status so they had no incentive to be less than honest. (I did not ask for a specific date)

I don't understand. If this is so, why not have an official statement?

All of the logistic and supply issues mean anything is possible. There were odd production cycles even without the pandemic and chip shortages. My 2019 was a very short production year if I remember correctly?

I totally understand that this is quite possibly happening. Just want something official so I can figure out what I am doing. Does anyone know if a June specific build guide has come out for 2021 models?

I also got told by a recommend (from the site) sales person that it will be way later in the year.

Looks like I'm looking for a new color. Then figure out if it's worth traveling.
