FYI, on the Ram 1500, the orders changed to 22 just over a month before the listed Donlen "initial acceptance" date. At that point, you could no longer order a 21.

Briefly thought the second sentence was "Outer Banks" like those sneaky... ooops.

Are there big changes for '22?

There's pages upon pages of discussions on this thread: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/2022-models-press-release-dates.70129/unread

The general consensus on new features are likely not.

Most Likely - new color(s), particularly with Billet Silver, Chief Blue, HellaYella, and a few others that I don't recall being phased out. Possibly also the expansion of the Recon Xtreme package to other trims

Possible (but unlikely) - Uconnect 5 (requiring the 8.4-inch upgrade). Uconnect 5 is already in some 2021 models and is faster, has newer hardware, has future support for 5G (for mobile hotspot, etc) and bigger displays, and most importantly, includes wireless CarPlay/Android Auto.

MY2023 is expected to be the next big refresh, and would be more likely to see new interior design, bigger screen(s), etc.

Generally speaking, from what we know thus far, MY2022 isn't expected to be remarkably different from MY2021.

*SPECULATION*: Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if MY2022 is much shorter than normal - starting in December and running until ~July 2022, with MY2023 returning to "normal" cycles, announced in ~June 2022 and starting production in August/September 2022.

With the addition of the XR package at the tail end of 2021, it seems very unlikely that Jeep has anything major planned for 2022. I would expect several new colors.

Chief
Nacho
Hellayella
Gecko

All are likely gone for 2022. Billet Silver will probably come back, but that still leaves holes in the color line-up. Best guess is that Earl, from the Farout concept, will be one.

As long as Rhino doesn't come back as a color option, I'm loving my Hydro Blue Sahara.

But if they bring Rhino back for 2022 I'm going to go ballistic.

Am I the only one who thinks they’ll keep the interior the same, I don’t think the wrangler needs an interior update, and when they did it in 2012 it was super outdated, I don’t think the new interior will need it

So, Am I reading it correct that Jeep “stopped” taking orders for 2021 wrangler back in April?
I just placed an order last week. It was accepted and the dealer gave me a VON with a priority of 1.
could someone explain what’s going on?

Donlen's a fleet site, the 21 Rams were available to order past the date listed on that site as well. The order system will flip from 21 to 22 when it happens.

You should be fine, but once the 22 order swap happens, those guys will have to wait until at least December for builds.

Why would they put just this date in the Canadian format but other dates in the next columns are in the US format. Makes no sense.
It's not, here's another one. Its the FLEET order date:

You're probably right. All orders placed since 4/8 will be cancelled and no new orders will be accepted until October. Six month gap allows Jeep sufficient time to change nozzles in the paint booth.
