Model year production begins in the late summer if I recall. So yours is actually a model year 2022, already a few months into 2022 production. Obviously, that doesn't mean there aren't mid-year changes but I'm not sure being built in 2021 as a MY2022 is indicative of anything specific.Mine was the holiday season, folks drinking eggnog, spiked12-21.

My 2018 JLUR has flap and full carpet.For 2018, having the gap cover was based on trim/options and if you got the gap cover you didn't get full carpet coverage under the back seat.
