The gage is seriously optimistic by 2-3 mpg.
I drove all highway, smoothly as possible but at high speeds and my mileage is averaging around 20 or so. (120mi per day). I can get better mileage by running 65 or so in the right lane, but I'd be taking my life in my hands.
Tried 93 octane for a few tanks but it didn't give much better return. (Certainly not worth $0.30+/gal more)

Driving with a light foot and still getting less than 19 mpg using premium gas....also engine doesn’t seem as quick as it did on some test rides....what am I missing/doing wrong?

2 door rubicon 2019 on stock 33s. 1 month old. during 1st two weeks i was only getting 15.5mpg. only city driving for me so far, with some light trails. this week, it jumped up to 18mpg and i think the engine/ tires just still needs to be broken in. only pumping in 93 octane, so i would love to see the high mpgs posted here by others who seem to be getting mid to high 20s.

I've been seeing my average when traveling above 75-70mph on the highway with ACC, I'm around 18mpg, city driving, I'm getting better as I'm usually under 60mph, and averaging around 22-20mpg.

EDIT: JL 4 door Rubicon only mod, is the ARB drawer system and a short antenna

Any idea why some of us are averaging such poor mileage? I’m purposely being light footed and still doesn’t improve

Drove from Medfield ,Massachusetts to Asheville, NC towing a 4x8 uhaul trailer that is probably 1500 pounds loaded. 1006 miles and 53 gallons purchased for 18.9 mpg and average speed of 64 mph. So far traveling around the mountains no trailer and no trails yet, the onboard says 24.2 mpg. Will updated on fill up. The power while towing the trailer was crazy!

Purchased 51 gallons on the way home and 1006 miles. Averaged 19.7 mpg. The traiiler was a little heavier due to the amount of beer I brought back from the NC/SC breweries. Averaged 67 MPH. About ready to flip 3k on the odometer. Averaged 23.7 mpg running around the area for a week and about 500 miles.

My mpg has just been getting better and better as I put more miles the Jeep.
I’ve got 11,2XX miles. 2.0 Rubicon JLU with hardtop on 315/70/17 KO2’s. Got Black Rhino Fury wheels (pretty heavy). Dash reads 22.5mpg. GasBuddy app calculator is 20.7mpg.
Most I’ve got out of a tank was 415.1 miles. Couldn’t be happier.

Drive about 60 miles daily to work. 40% city 60% highway. Highway I try to keep it between 65-72mpg. Only pump premium gas from Costco.

We'll see what happens when my 85 LB Nitto Trail Grapplers go on (37x12.50R17) with AEV Borah beadlocks on Saturday. Lol.

Ever since temps got hot and I can't take advantage of the auto start/stop (since it kills the AC and it's 117 out) my gas mileage has dropped to 21. Still not bad. 60/40 highway/city. I think if I would have gone with the 37" KO2's I probably would have been around ~19. However, these Nittos are heavy... I am thinking I'll be around 16-17. All of course including the 3.5" lift and front end caps coming off. Not planning on re-gearing.
