One thing that a quick reread of my original post reminded me of is the sensitivity of average MPG to all changes, big and even small, that we make to the vehicle's driving profile: lifts, tires & wheels, roof racks, etc.

I was reminded of that matter this morning while monitoring the fuel mileage with the top folded back into the Sunrider config. All other things being equal, having the top in that position imposes an average ~1 mpg penalty.

Just another data point to file away.

20mpg on my jlur with 35s. Id say 1mpg degradation max on 35s (no lift). My drive is 75mpg cruise majority to/from work. For comparison i used to have a 3.6 6speed and never saw over 16 once on same routes. I have zero regrets with the 2.0! Also only running 87 oct

Creeping up on 8K miles. With 87, I was getting 19.5 mixed driving. Using 91, 21.9 mixed driving. Seems to actually make a difference what grade gas I use, but its not a huge difference.

Update...
I have almost 30k miles on my jlur now. Still running the factory 33" ko2 tires and rims. I'm averaging between 18.5 and 19.5 on the exact same day to day drive I've been doing for the last 3 years. When I first got the jeep I was averaging 14-15. I actually saw 24 this past winter on a trip from NJ to Fla.
Probably mostly coincidental, but my milage really jumped up just before that trip which is when I switched over to Amsoil. Not a fanboy, just mentioning.

17.5mpg running 91*octane around town (start-stop)... gets up to 20mpg on roadtrips, especially at cooler altitudes. REEDA is slightly modified tho
