3.0 diesel order tracking thread

My dealer emailed me Monday to tell me it's in D1...

I haven't verified with jeep chat

This whole charade is becoming comical. Dealers don’t know anything, corporate knows even less, computers are FUBAR and the EPA continues holding the auto industry hostage.

ETA: Oh and just in case anyone missed it, CARB certified this engine on October 1st (!!!!) using more strict protocols than the EPA. This last 8 weeks is and always has been about the EPA extracting more than the 305 million dollar civil penalty they already got from FCA over prior 3.0 emissions.

My vehicle is still in D status.
I suppose that there is some item(s) that are not yet available. Such a the Iridium bumpers, white-Rhino leather, or snow leopard fur headliner I ordered.

Checking in on the Jeep cares chat today and they told me I was in D1!!!! And I was ecstatic for about 45 seconds before another message came in and she said oops I meant D status. What's the equivalent of girl blue ball? Because damn.

I asked that question a couple days ago, and they told me, yes, diesel wranglers are in production. Yours is D1 and should be built in a few weeks.

Still haven't seen anyone here with a built one...

FCA has released the EPA numbers pertaining to fuel economy. It's is a step in the right direction. This process is rolling out slower then I'd anticipated but it's still rolling.

I just spoke to Jeep chat and they said production for the diesel is not supposed to start until the end of January. Then I got it’s a new launch blah blah blah
