Good call! Congrats on the purchase!
That being said, we did really like our Grand Wagoneer Series III. "If" it was less problematic, it would. be our favorite vehicle of all time. But with the issues we had coupled with a non-premium sales/service experience, it's just not a vehicle worth...
The regular Wagoneer is likely fine if you get the 3.0. It only has 2 screens (option to get passenger screen, total waste and rear screens). The car is solid, great in the snow, I really liked both the Wagoneer and GW. I liked them better than my wife's Escalade and Yukon XL we had...
Oh, and our friends had a similar GW series II onyx repurchased recently as well. Similar electrical issues, plus one that would leave them with a car that wouldn't start.
Don't do it. I just had my wife's repurchased by FCA yesterday. It was a really bad ownership experience.. 12 return visits for same problems, over 90 days in the shop over 14 months. They rolled this car out WAY before it was ready. Endless flashes, reprogramming etc.
What were the...
I'm on the other side of the fence. I have a near-stock Rubicon with 37" KM3's. Only added weight is the front winch/bumper.
Anyway the Jeep drives fine. I can spin the tires, acceleration is adequate, it holds 8th no problem down to 60 and I live at 4000 feet.
I have 6000 miles on the...
Wow I wonder what's up with your Jeep? My Ecodiesel will grab 8th at just over 60 on flat ground. And it will hold 8th at 75mph even on slight inclines. I'm running 37x12.50 KM3's with a 2" lift, stock gearing. Seems strange to me you're not cruising in 8th.
I'm here to tell you the Ecodiesel with 37's is just fine. No way does it need 4.10's with stock tires. Doesn't even need them with 37's. Sure, they'd be nice to have but I can hold 8th gear at 60-65+ no problem. Not like the 4-pot or 3.6 with 37's, with everyone complaining about getting...
I ordered and waited for the diesel. Now that the newness and "cool factor" have worn off, I'd just as soon have the same jeep in a 3.6 and manual. I think it would be a lot more fun to drive. Automatics are boring, but great for crawling. I never crawl, manual would be much better for me...
I use a Mopar Flat Tow harness (dealer installed), Blue Ox Avail tow bar and a RVI Brake braking system. Works awesome with my LOD Off Road winch bumper.
My uncle has a Sahara with a Roadmaster setup and it works equally well. I think I may prefer the air-actuated braking system better, but I...
Originally I had NItto Ridge Grappler 37x12.50r17 and the Jeep wandered a lot. I swapped to 37x12.50r17 KM3's, and wandering was greatly reduced.
I don't know. Never drove it stock.
I can tell you I hated Ridge Grapplers, wandered all over the place. Replaced with KM3's, a bit louder but...
I got an early diesel, all that was available was the AEV spacer lift. I have it running 37's. Works well for most things I think and rides like stock.
Eventually I'll get a real suspension, but for now the spacer kit is fine. For the price I don't think anyone would be disappointed.
Just as the title says, like new. Came on my JL Rubicon, but took off to add custom steelies and KM3's which weren't available when Jeep was built. About 1k miles on tires/wheels, spare has never been used. Load range D, road force balanced, nice and smooth. Galaxy with silver trim rings...
They're Stockton Wheel series 51. I had them powder coat them prior to shipping. If you order, find your own coater.
I've had my diesel for about three months and love it. Spins 37's no problem. Grabs 8th at like 60 on the flats, but you need to be at 70 or so for it to hold on any type...
New shoes yesterday... KM3's on 17" x 9" Stockton Wheel Series 51's, 5.75" backspacing. Ran out of time, still have to modify the camera mount to allow the CHMSL wire to reach the relocation mount. Took off AEV Borah's with Nitto Ridge Grappler.
