Tell me what you all ordered and what options and model you ordered. I've called 2 different local deals, and they have no idea about the diesel.

If you want to get to Kodiak in your Wrangler you will need to take the ferry out of Homer. Brutal crossing if the wind and seas are up. I just did it in August for a Mountain Goat hunt and we had 20 foot seas and gale force winds.

My daughter told me that you had to take the ferry and that it a long ride. How much would it cost to catch a plane from Homer to the island?

Probably less than $200. I was hunting so it was better fro me to take my gear over in a truck and meat back the same way.

Worth the trip....

You do realize that the 2020 model now comes with the Red dash with black interior. While I really like the red dash. On Punkin it looks bad IMO they had one on the dealer lot when i ordered so I went with Saddle because of this. Yes you can paint and swap it out. But I didnt want to have to do that right away.

Yeah I noticed some 2020s online that had the red dash. Not sure why they changed it. I agree it clashes. But I also think the brown seats clash more. At least they’re dark saddle now instead of that tan from last year. My wife’s red JK has brown saddle seats which I love but it also has the brown center console and lower door panels and glovebox. I wish jeep would add some brown accents for the JL.

I thought it was an error on the Jeep website but when i got to my dealer to order they had a Punk'n with the Red dash. Luckily for me they had a gladiator with the dark saddle interior so I could go look at it and make my decision. We will see when it gets here but I think its going to look great with the saddle interior
