Pretty sure the Jeeps don't connect to wifi.Got my ORP update yesterday, I did wait until I was at home within range of my WIFI to ensure good connection.
No issues with anything so far.
Just went out and checked just now, all is good.
I didn't drive my Jeep all weekend, so I got the update on my way into work this morning....quietest ride I've had since I had my radio stolen 15 years ago! Anywho, first thing I checked was the offroad pages (check), second this forum. I'll have to check the reverse camera when I go out for lunch.Pretty sure the Jeeps don't connect to wifi.
@Bluewaveaudiowatching for info, as mine are MIA after getting the update yesterday.
My 8.4 GPS has most of the Forest Service roads in my area with the alpha numeric designation/ name.Does the Off-road package include forest service roads or backroad discovery maps built into the map or gps? If no, can I purchase software to upload mor detailed off-road maps integrated into the gps?
I'm not sure about how detailed they get, in terms of FS roads or dirt roads. My old JK had a bread crum feature that traced your path on trails and then you could follow it back out. You could also save them. It became bogged down after several updates and no longer works, but I really wish the JL had that feature in the navigation system.Does the Off-road package include forest service roads or backroad discovery maps built into the map or gps? It does have this feature. Click the "Where To" on the Nav. Then scroll your list down. Click on trails. Then click start recording. It will record your path and then name it with a date and time. The. You can click them and say do you want to route from the start or end. So when you stop and load it you can say route to start and reverse your steps. If you shut your vehicle off while wheeling it will stop it and you'll have to start a new recording. Keeps track of mileage and time on the recordings too.I'm not sure about how detailed they get, in terms of FS roads or dirt roads.
