I've had them on 2 Gladiators and will be buying them for my wife's JLU 4xe.
I wonder if they can be bought in purple? (reign) My wife would love that.
I'm the sort that will forget about that prop rod and knock the hood onto my head. Plus, I love sliding the safety catch aside and just letting the hood go up. Especially nice on a taller Jeep.

I needed to lay the hood back when installing the snow plow electronics on my firewall, and unlatching was easy - once I got past my thinking of how the struts on Eagles worked.

Did you peel off the stickers or just turn them around?

I'd really like to get a set of these, but absolutely can't stand the large branding on them. Wasn't sure if they were decals or silk-screened.
I forgot to mention... Redline Tuning also offers carbon Fiber sleeves .

(The sleeves will only work with the PLUS system as the Stainless gas springs are slightly larger in diameter.)

I peeled the stickers and then decided to get the Carbon Fiber sleeves.. The CF sleeves are real decent.. The struts alone aren't bad looking at all . I just wanted something different looks wise..

The logo "stickers" peel off very easily. No residue remains after you peel them off.
Thanks! ?

And I absolutely loved slapping real CF parts all over my Evo, but for some reason it just 'feels weird' adding any to my Wrangler (though it could certainly use some weight reduction and aerodynamics!)

There are cheaper ones out there but I think these are worth the extra. I saw a youtube video about a different brand and they required a nudge , helping hand to rise after you release the catch. The Redline pop right up and raise smoothly from closed. Cheaper ones may not have the quick release either.

My @Redline Tuning struts arrived today. Now all I need is the Wrangler to put them on!

They are stickers that are easily removed. I preheated mine with a hair dryer, after which they were peeled off without issue.

The Redline struts on my JLU do also require a nudge, especially during cold(er) weather. This is true even after arriving home, when the engine bay and thus the struts are well-warmed. Frankly, I think they're a bit underspecc'd for the task.

They're paid for and on the vehicle, though, so there they'll stay for now.

I have them turned to the inside. I'm sure I did it with some intention when I installed them, but honestly can't remember.

They have a set spec'd for the heavier hood 392. Maybe those would be better to use on non 392 JL's with owners looking for the hoos to spring up.

A little tricky doing the hood mounts, trimmed an inch of rubber off. Love 'em.

Installed on my 392 this evening. First mod done! (Several more to go.) The shocks are really nice improvement. Would definitely buy again.

My only critique is that I didn’t want the decals and they left a residue on the shocks. Isopropyl alcohol and nail polish remover didn’t remove the residue. I saw some people say WD40 works for removing decal residue so I’m going to try that next.

If you have to trim the bracket (i.e. have a 392), I would advise cutting the side and end of a 20-gallon trash bag and tape over the fender, fuse box, etc, and higher up on the shock. Similar to what I show in the first photo. It helped contain the metal shards my Dremel threw and kept a lot off the paint and engine bay.

Goo Gone adhesive remover usually works well for that.
