I have them installed with the ARB setup with no trouble.

Good heads up. I had to modify my arb mount because I already had the Voswitch JL300 module mounted forward of there. Maybe that's what caused the conflict. I will have to go check when I get out of here. Sorry for any confusion

Finally installed mine after theyve bern sitting for about two years. One of my best mods yet. I HATE the oem prop rod. It sucks when youre short and have a lifted jeep lol.

i did manage to drop the silver backing plate inside the hood. I had the screw flush as the directions suggest and it managed to come off. Took me about ten minutes to fish it out with magnetic reach tool. After that i left a little screw threads showing past the silver plate and no more issues.

the product is well engineered and very well packaged. Install is pretty simple and welk done.

my hood seems a little reluctant to close all the way down now. I have to work the latches a little bit to get them on. Just a hair. Im guessing due to the shocks pressure. No biggie but i did notice it.

Took me way too long to figure out that you have to push down on the little red tab to release the lower part of the strut. For some reason this seemed counterintuitive to me. Pushing down should lock it in place, but instead, it spreads the clip inside.

FYI, I can attest that the redline tuning struts do not interfere with locating the Warn winch solenoid next to the battery. Best mod I have made to my Jeep.

Won't interfere as long as you keep the bolt heads LOW. I had trouble and had to counter-sink the screws that hold my terminal strip and such - otherwise it would hit the bolt heads.
The acrylic I used was thick and it raised the bolts/screws up to just touch the struts.
I am the sort that would likely bump the support rod and send the hood crashing down on my head - so I put the struts on my Jeep shortly after getting it.

Great upgrade. Great transaction! ?

Did you have to trim one of the brackets under the hood? I think it’s on the passenger side. I’ve seen where one person on the 392 forum say they didn’t need to and another did.

I don't know if I HAD to but I trimmed that sucker up just in case. Been awhile since I cut anything on a Jeep so I was feeling a bit frisky. ?

Clears with a bunch of space all the way around. 2 minutes with a dremel and a sharpie and it is good to go!

? Thank you for the info. I’ve been wanting to order these, but was waiting to see some more feedback.

I have a CJ7 steel hood hanging on my wall and the 392 hood is easily heavier. I'm glad to have some assistance in opening this stupid thing. ?

Only for the Rubicon 392 do you need to trim away a small portion of this bracket on the passenger side to make clearance for the gas spring. All other Wrangler variants bolt in with zero modifications.

Did you peel off the stickers or just turn them around?

I'd really like to get a set of these, but absolutely can't stand the large branding on them. Wasn't sure if they were decals or silk-screened.

The logo "stickers" peel off very easily. No residue remains after you peel them off.
