Spent the day detailing my JL for a trip to the Gulf Coast and also installed my Redline Tuning hood props and all I can says is everybody needs these, these are extremely well made and my factory hood prop is gone, just so much easier and well worth the cost.
Install was pretty easy but had to fumble around with the backing plate on one hood mount and it was due to the fact I have fingers like a Hobbit but once I figured it out the other side dropped right in.
Heres my original all cleaned up
My new Redline Tuning Props
Here i centered the mounting bracket then marked a reference mark for my OCD
I used a panel tool to pop the plastic holder out that holds the rubber trim on, I found that the backing plate catches on these so it easier to pull out and then mount the adapter then push the rivet back in.
Had to do alittle surgery and remove the factory prop, just looked bad being up there
This is a game changer for me .....Thanks @Redline Tuning
