Installed on my 392 this evening.

My only critique is that I didn’t want the decals and they left a residue on the shocks. Isopropyl alcohol and nail polish remover didn’t remove the residue. I saw some people say WD40 works for removing decal residue so I’m going to try that next.
Pre-heating a decal/label/sticker with a hair dryer is the classic method of setting up a residue-free removal.

Try Goo Gone, as recommended. That's a safe but weak treatment. If it doesn't work, there's always Goof-Off, which is a very effective but also rather strong (and flammable) solvent. Goof-Off has always worked for me, but take due care to avoid dulling painted surfaces, etc.

Thanks for the tip, appreciate it ?

Has anyone installed the 392 version on a regular JL to improve the lifting ability/speed? Looks like the same kit but with stronger struts.

Why would you do that.... the non 392 offering lifts the stock hood on a JL just fine..

I ask because I've read, and seen videos, where the standard JL kit struts don't lift the hood up without pushing it halfway first. I would like to unlatch the hood and it open automatically. Figured a stronger strut, like the ones in the Mojave or 392 kits, would work better at doing this.

You are always going to have to lift the hood a bit, but if you want more lifting force I would say use the system designed for the Mojave hood as it is about 20% higher force. The System for the 392 is about 50% higher force which is too much.

I'm about to make a warranty claim for that precise issue. The Redlines are the first struts I've used where lifting is necessary, every time. That's not been necessary on any other vehicle on which I've installed hood struts, many of which were ChiCom specials sourced from eBay. Both of our Hondas are using such struts as I type this post.

This is the very reason for my inquiry. I watched a video about this just yesterday. They had to lift the hood halfway up before it would open on its own. If they didn't get past the halfway point, the hood would quickly close.

Mm. For a C-note, I'd expect the USA struts to work at least as well as the imports. Not so. We'll see where we land on this one.

I have their struts on both my 2022 JT and our 2023 JLU 4xe

I did run into clearance issues with a bolt when the acrylic electric panel I made brought the head of the bolt up high enough for the strut body to hit.

In this picture it should be fine because that bracket isn't very thick. But bring that bolt up even a little higher and it will hit. I tested with clay to find out how much clearance there is - and it's not a lot because it does line up with those bolts.

My solution was to countersink bolts with smaller heads into my acrylic for clearance with the cylinders. (winch solenoid is mounted on the aluminum bracket below the snow plow fuse)
I could not use the stock bolts with the tall heads on the acrylic - they hit the cylinder body.

My First set I got also would not lift the hood without me helping it, needed to be half way up before the struts would push the hood up on it's own. It did not fall back down at any point though, it would just sit there until I pushed it half way up manually. The second set I got was the stainless steel ones (21-20003-03), and those raise the hood really well, almost as soon as I unlatch it.
