17-18? Really, that was my JK mileage with 35's and a 2.5" lift. My '22 Rubi XR is getting about 19.5 mpg. I am amazed how better the MPG are in my "22 compared to my '13 2 door, 6-speed, Rubi. The additional doors on my XR must add to the aerodynamic improvements...or that auto tyranny. Lol...
Get the 392 so you can watch your RPM drop about as fast as your MPG drop. 😄
Seriously, I would love to get one but the MPG thing is a no go with the price of gas today. Wait for the Hurricane to come out. I bet you'll get the power and the MPG. Best of both worlds.
Wonder if the Nitto Recon 37x11.50 would fit without rubbing. I've read they only measure a true 35" when mounted. Any real world experience out there with this tire?
Same issue ony JL. It's from sliding in and out. The JK was an easy fix either by just rotating the lever to face down. You had to trim about an inch of it off if you wanted it to be lowered without hitting the floorboard but it solved my issue. I was just looking at the JL last week for this...
Nice commando. Personally, my favorite Jeep color. I miss my '13 JK. Very rare color. Only offered for part of 2013. A lot of people thought it looked like pea soup or baby puke, Enjoy.
Walk. I when I was stationed in upstate NY, I had a beautiful Ram 2500, 5.9 HO Cummins, 6-speed that I had to ditch once I got down to NC. After only 5 years, it looked like it lived 50 years on the salted roads of the great white north. I grew up in PA so I well aware of rust issues. Look down...
Did anyone notice from photos of the 20th Anniversary Rubicon if it had two rear hooks? If so, then there will be a kit out soon enough to retrofit all JL's to two hooks if you want to. Same as what happened when the 10A came out and everyone wanted dual rear hooks for their JK.
